Nodegard GmbH is a company in the heart of Frankfurt am Main. We are specialized in running web applications (see: service). Drupal is our focus. But with our co-operation partners we also support other CMS technologies like WordPress.

 

Nodegard is part of the Open Source Culture

Nodegard GmbH is part of Open Source Culture and its communities. This not only about the freedom of software. It's about the people working together to improve the software. Especially the Drupal community appreciates any kind of contribution. For example organizing local user group meetups or community conferences. We are special related to the rhine-main area which surrounds our city. We are involved in organizing the local Drupal Usergroup. But we also supporting the WordCamp Frankfurt 2016 as speaker and as bronze sponsor. Carsten Logemann was one of the main organizers of the lokal drupalcamp 2014 and now with Nodegard he is involved again to organize the Drupalcamp Frankfurt 2017.

One company to connect them all

We founded Nodegard to protect web applications and its data in our "garden" of security strategies.
Since security is often a problem in the hosting market, we decided to organize our own hosting platform (nodegard.net) that fits our security requirements.

Cooperation and Transparency

Using IT-Services is always a question of trust and can only be established with transparency.
Regarding our hosting infrastructure, we are currently only working with companies that are also based in Germany or share our values.
Nodegard itself, essentially counts on cooperations to provide our own services. Our rules to cooperate are based on strict rules for privacy and security and are also transparent.

We focus on quality

  • Martina Hirschpiel is our Head of Marketing and a designer at heart. She makes sure that our business philosophy meets the standards of our services and to stay comprehensible for non technicians.
  • In 1995 Carsten Logemann started to deal with the possibilities of the WWW regarding knowledge management, education, and privacy. For him free and open source software is a tool for a better society and being an active member of the drupal community is a question of honor.
