WordCamp 2016 Speaker Badge

Next weekend (02.09.- 04.09.2016) there is a WordCamp (#wcfra) at the University of Frankfurt (campus Bockenheim). This is the first WordCamp in our hometown Frankfurt. This is a conference organized by WordPress-users. We are happy to support this camp in several ways.

Our first support is being a speaker in a session where I will share my knowledge about compromises in managed hosting situations. Our second support is via a bronze sponsor package. It would be great if we could help more in organization as a third support. We will try next time. This, in my opinion, is the most important contribution to a community camp and consuming lot's of time. I know this because I was one of the main organizers of the Drupalcamp Frankfurt in 2014 (#dcffm14) and I'm already involved in organizing the #dcffm17. Like we are organizing our WordPress services with co-operation partners, we are happy that they are more involved in organizing the #wcfra as we are currently able to do this directly. Especially our co-operation partner Walter Ebert is one of the main organizers of #wcfra. Walter was also involved in organizing #dcffm14 which was also organized at the campus Bockenheim.

Last but not least there is a little support of the #wcfra with some equipment of the local drupal usergroup (#dugffm). The #dugffm bought this for #dcffm14 and it's currently stored at Nodegard office. So I'm happy that Open Source communities are helping each other again.
